Once upon a time, it would have been nice to hold a wand, go to a magic school and fly on a broomstick or a giant horse-bird (scratch that, this will always be super cool).
But I have noticed as I have grown that wizard, princess, or power ranger, it would have helped me a lot if I had an excellent memory. What I wouldn’t give to have eidetic or photographic memory!
As an educator, I no longer blame myself but the fact that we just did not have enough trained teachers to help us with proper method of learning and revision which could have helped us retain the knowledge for life.
This blog is not about the blame game on the system or the people.
This is a simple acknowledgement. That no matter how easily we have access to information at our fingertips with google, the power of memory would continue to be a hot superpower.
Google will not have records of all the people we meet who touch our lives, some minor detail that we experience that might help someone else or just not forget the details of moments that are breathtaking.
